April Newsletter

Welcome Back, Douglas Park Families,

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Spring Break, and that you are enjoying the current sunny, warm weather!  The children have been busy exploring Spring and Farm themes, and have seemed to enjoy observing the first signs of Spring around the playground!  Birds signing, flowers blooming, and bees buzzing!

Important Dates:

Four Year Old Graduation Photos

Friday, April 29th 2016

Professional Development Day

Thursday, April 21st

Four Year Old Parent Teacher Interviews

Thursday, April 21st.

There will be sign up sheets available outside the classrooms beginning Monday, April 11th.

An Important Reminder:

Warmer weather means it's time to think about Sun Safety!  As we do spend time outside every class day, please remember to send your child prepared.... not just for heat and sun.... but also don't forget about UV rays that can be harmful even on overcast days.  Wide brimmed hats, sunscreen, water bottles all help to keep skin safe and little bodies cool!

Please refer to information sheets posted outside classrooms for more details!
