Happy October, Douglas Park families!

It seems as though September passed in a flash and that autumn feeling is in the air with the arrival of October!  We have kept busy with making new friends, discussing All About Me, and exploring Our Five Senses.

Important Dates

Thanksgiving- Monday, October 12th.  No Class in Session
4 Year Old Field Trip (Pumpkin Patch)- Monday, October 19th. 
*Details and permission forms to be handed out soon.*
Professional Day- Friday, October 23rd.  No Classes in Session.


Reminders

Please note that our students go out every day, rain or shine!  Of course, when the weather is particularly cold and/or wet, our time is limited; however, we DO still go out.  Please remember to send your child in weather appropriate clothing.  Warm jackets or rain jackets, rain pants, and boots are recommended at this time of year.

Also, don't forget to send along a clean change of clothes (including socks!) with your child each day.  Sometimes accidents happen, other times we enjoy messy exploration in class!
